ParentGuidance.org Help Your Child

I am pleased to share that the Huntley Project School District is offering a new resource for parents and families to better support their children with mental health and wellness.  ParentGuidance.org is free to all parents and families in our district.

ParentGuidance.org is a service developed by licensed therapists that provides trusted and specialized courses, professional support, and a safe community for parents to learn how to support their children and get answers to mental health questions. This may be a benefit to you as well, both as a parent or a staff member.

We will also be hosting a  Family Mental Health Zoom for Huntley Project parents and families to attend to learn about ways they can help their children and use  ParentGuidance.org tools.  Our Mental Health Night will be on Tuesday, December 15 from 6:30-7:30pm.

Use this link to register: https://cookcenter.info/HuntleyProjectSchools  One of the therapists from Parent Guidance will be on the Zoom to talk with parents.

Our hope is that ParentGuidance.org will give concerned parents a place to go for answers to support and help their children struggling with depression, anxiety, and family strife, as well as provide tools for forming stronger bonds between parents and their children.

We have flyers to send home with all the details.  If you have parents who seem to be struggling or overwhelmed, please remind them of this resource as a place where they can get free resources.  ParentGuidance.org is free and confidential for parents.
