A lot is happening around HP this month, so please take a few minutes to review the information and upcoming dates. Remember, we are not mailing this boxholder, so we greatly appreciate any help sharing and distributing Huntley Project information. There is a lot of great information in this month's boxholder, but in the end, if we are not about the people who serve, contribute, and make this place better, what is a school really about? With that in mind, I changed the layout a little and took some extra "space" to recognize three longtime members of the Huntley Project family who will be retiring during the 2026-27 school year: Jeanette Manternach, Chris Geck, and Rick Dees. We sincerely appreciate the years they have given to our students, staff, school, and community.
This month's boxholder also includes information on Senior/Parent Nights, senior pictures, Pack the Place in Pink, Blackout Day, Red Ribbon Week, upcoming no-school dates, College Application Week and scholarships, MAST testing notifications, the October school menu, FFA activities, Junior High Girls Basketball and Wrestling, the upcoming Veterans Day Parade and Program, as well as our full October activity calendar. We have also included information from the Project Booster Club and HPPTA, two groups that continue to contribute to our District.
